What do I put for hostname in checkout?
Hostname is simply your server's label. It's usually the same as your domain name or subdomain.
Where are the servers located?
AWS's US East 1 datacenter in Virginia.
How do I set up my SSL certificate?
It's automatically set up for you on the domain name you provided in checkout. Open any web browser at HTTP://Your_IP_Address to see your server. We send your Amazon IP in the welcome email. After you point your domain to your hosting, allow time for DNS to propagate, view your server at HTTPS://Your_Domain_Name.
VPS or Cloud, what's the difference?
While both are managed, our cloud servers are virtual machines using Amazon's public cloud computing. Our VPS are bare-metal, physical servers from Amazon's latest range.
How long does it take after I pay?
Unless your payment has been flagged as high risk, your VPS should automatically begin the provisioning process immediately after payment approval.
What is HostJane's refund policy?
HostJane offers a Service Level Agreement, Web Hosting Terms of Service with refunds based on downtime. Refund requests must be received at the time of the outage.
